New Research Program for Undergrad Cadets and Midshipmen
Prof. Vince Mooney and Prof. Durgin have been awarded a grant from ONR and AFRL to build a cadet-based undergraduate research program in cybersecurity. The program will involve a dozen or so undergraduates, mentored by Georgia Tech PhD students, hosted by Georgia Tech faculty.
If you are an undergraduate researcher in an ROTC/cadet program, contact Julie Ridings or Prof Durgin for application info.
Prof. June Zhang at University of Hawaii
Although we did not convince her to stay at GT for graduate school, Prof. June Zhang in the University of Hawaii’s EE department is one of our favorite alumni at the GT Prop group. Check out her research page on modeling complex systems such as blackouts, disease outbreaks, and viral videos.
Invited Talk at Valpo
Prof. Durgin will be delivering an invited lecture, “Wireless Forever,” on Tuesday evening, 7 Nov 2017, at Valparaiso University. This is part of the distinguished lecturer series for the IEEE Council on RFID. Download the presentation at [DL_Presentation_Valpo].
