In less than 2 months, the IEEE RFID 2019 Conference will kick-off in beautiful San Diego, California. It is the 13 in the conference series and the 12-consecutive event that our group has attended. What started with an invite in 2008 to the Las Vegas conference by then TPC-chair Daniel Deavours has turned into an annual event for our group … and a haven for some of the best multi-disciplinary researchers in the IEEE community. Below is a list of the full-length papers that have been submitted over the years by our group (students bold-faced, as per GT curriculum vitae guidelines). There are 25 total papers to IEEE RFID (and 4 more to the related, international RFID-TA series):

For students planning their grad classes in electromagnetics next year, the current slate of offerings is included below. Note that some of these courses have been moved to every other year to accommodate teaching burdens (at the moment, we are suffering a shortage of faculty instructors compared to student interest in these courses).

Guangzhou Region vs. Atlanta Metropolitan
Georgia Tech ECE and Prof. Tong Zhou started the GT Shenzhen campus in 2014, which provides an alternative for obtaining an MS-ECE degree for students from all over the world — including US students who want an international experience. The first two offerings of ECE 8813 Wireless Without Batteries were delivered on the Shenzhen campus in 2014 and 2017.
