Her original conference paper from IEEE RFID 2018 explores using various Kalman filters as part of the GTPG’s Hybrid Inertial Microwave Reflectometry (HIMR) positioning scheme. This technique uses RFID-like tags to localize nodes within a few mm of their actual position.
