New ECE 4370/1 Antenna Engineering Home Page
As the old prop group site slowly migrates and integrates into the new wordpress site, we will be transferring course content over. Today, we’d like to introduce the new course site for managing content in our antenna engineering courses. This includes the lecture course ECE 4370 Antenna Engineering and the optional, concurrent laboratory course ECE 4371 Antenna Engineering Laboratory. Both courses will be offered this fall term.
GPS III and the “Competition”
Another “course refresh” video from Shenzhen 2017 discussing the emerging GPS-III standard and some of the other up-and-coming Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). This lecture is a follow-on to lectures on basic GPS operation (courtesy our friend Prof. Paul Steffes) and Positioning Errors in GPS.
Martian Wireless Networks
In 2005, we ran a curated virtual space mission for Georgia Tech’s graduate-level ECE 6390, Satellite Communications. The project was entitled “Martian Wireless Networks” and involved a hypothetical wireless network to link radios across the surface of Mars.
