Upcoming IEEE RFID 2018
IEEE RFID 2018 in Orlando, FL will be held 10-12 April 2108. Co-located with the largest trade-show in the RFID industry, RFID Journal LIVE! we have a number of GTPG researchers presenting this year. Mohammad Alhassoun, Qian Yang, and Michael Varner are presenting papers as part of the main technical program. Cheng Qi and the ORS team of Evan Shi, EriK Centeno, and Hiba Murali are presenting at the poster session. Alumnus Brian Degnan is also presenting a tutorial on RFID chip design. Research-Innovation-Design in Engineering Education
Projects in an engineering curriculum can be divided into 3 types, depending on their emphasis: research, invention, and design.Each of these project types emphasizes a different set of skills and disciplines. Any rich project will involve a combination of these 3 categories to varying degrees, but there is usually one dominant project theme that often classifies it as one or the other.
